I have the honour to inform you that, under separate cover, I am forwarding the certificate of the International Jury of Awards at the Universal Exposition of St. Louis, 1904, conferring on you a Gold Medal for Paintings of Maori Types.

The Medals have not yet reached me, but on latest advice I was informed that they were being struck and would be forwarded in due course.
