Danesfort, Paeroa.
13th June 1902.
Dear Partridge,
The ping pong set duly arrived but your people omitted to send
the invoice. Please forward it.
We are going to have a good time here on Coronation Day, and I
have sent circulars to all the Maori chiefs in this neighbourhood
to muster their people for a grand haka. It is however too cold for
a war dance, and I don't want to kill my people with influenza.
Yours sincerely,
James Mackay.
