RC2009/2/11 - 04 Jun 1902

Danesfort, Paeroa.
4th June, 1902-

Dear Partridge,

I have been laid up with influenza ever since my return from Huntly. I think you were right not to have the war dance photographed now. I had a talk with some of the Tauranga chiefs and I think they would only be too glad to get up a war dance. There are a good few old fellows there who have not forgotten the old time steps.
However time enough when the artist returns.

Will you send me a ping pong set, and the rules. Send invoice with it, and I will remit amount by return mail.

Yours truly.
James Mackay
